Education sponsorship

For an annual donation of only $80.00 we provide children with shoes, a school uniform, and a backpack filled with school supplies.  We also pay for tuition fees, test fees and other school charges (not to exceed the amount of your contribution.)

What does sponsorship provide?

· Each student is provided with new shoes

· A school uniform is tailored for your child

· A backpack  is given to carry items to and from school

· School supplies are provided to your child

· School fees (not to exceed the  amount of your contribution) are paid directly to school

· Test fees are paid for your child

Only $80 will support a child for the year

Too many children in Aurora drop out of school due to poverty.  Some are needed by their parents to watch younger siblings so both parents can work.  Others, when they are old enough, drop out of school to work so that they can help their parents meet the needs of their families.  Some families cannot afford to pay tuition fees, uniforms, shoes, etc. for multiple children, so parents are forced to choose which children receive an education and who must remain behind.  Our sponsorship program is designed to ensure that each child has what is needed to finish the school year.  It’s based entirely on need, and there are no strings attached.  All we ask of the families is that they support the child’s efforts in school by promoting attendance, punctuality, and completion of assignments.  We need your help to make sure that these kids all have a chance to be educated.
