About Us |
|
Global Warmth was incorporated in the State of Georgia in July 2001 to meet the needs of impoverished Filipinos in the remote Aurora Province. We have five members on our Board of Directors who help steer the efforts. What we’ve accomplished: Since 2001 we’ve built homes, planted churches, dug wells, provided medicine, created jobs, and have helped sponsor hundreds of children to school. We’ve created a community library, and distributed donated items to needy families, including: wheelchairs, toys, clothing, shoes, eyeglasses, toothbrushes and toothpaste, soap and shampoo. Our purpose: In every instance we give credit to God as the source of all blessings. We pray with these families, pray for these families, and let them know that they are loved. We encourage them to actively seek God’s purpose for creating them, and thousands have surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ as Lord. We want them to know that they are significant in God’s eyes, and a tremendous transformation is taking place in Aurora. One at a time, people are committing themselves to a relationship with our living God, We provide hope though an eternal future. Our goal is attained by showing the love of Christ in practical ways with no strings attached. Where we’re headed: We continue to grow ministry in Aurora and education assistance has been our primary platform for sharing Christ. We want to focus on strategic changes such as education, employment, and proper health care. We’re also working towards crisis management by responding to natural calamity such as typhoons, floods or earthquakes. Our goal is to demonstrate the love of Christ in practical ways by meeting real needs. We currently operate exclusively in the Aurora Province, but plan to expand to other regions of the Philippines in the coming years. God willing, we will be able to extend help to needy people in other nations as well. Our desire is to grow into a truly global organization. We don’t discriminate based on age, sex, race, religion or national origin - need is the criteria we use in selecting those we assist.
